Help page: Welcome

a wiki for Voluntary Stakeholder Reporting

This wiki-template is intended for "replication" into your own wiki for voluntary stakeholder reporting.

It is to be specifically suited if your organisation is a micro-level social actor and if you want to communicate in a systematic manner with all your stakeholders.

In order to avoid the excessive duplication of content, we recommend to align your voluntary reporting wiki with an existing (domestic or local) National Follow Up and Review wiki, or NFUR wiki. Such a wiki is typically maintained by a macro or meso-level social actor in your country and may have been replicated from #nfur source.

If you replicate this template, you will be owning the resulting wiki and you can modify it in accordance with your needs for communication and reporting, your inputs into sectoral or national dialogue, and capacity development of your stakeholders, including your employees, customers and suppliers.

By using a wiki and suitably #tagcoding and sharing its pages, your efforts regarding follow up and review can be visible directly at a national or state level, or in sectoral dialogues. In this way you can contribute to National follow up and review for the implementation of the #2030Agenda for Sustainable Development with a minimal effort.

For some countries there already is an initial NFUR wiki defining #tagcoding hashtags. Look them up for the #tagcoding hashtags for your voluntary stakeholder reporting wiki:
* European Union
* India
* Nepal
* Philippines
* Tanzania
* United States
* Maroc (en français)

reference wikis

You will notice that communicating and reporting about sustainable development action plans is a very knowledge intensive activity involving many terms and principles and much knowledge.

The various pages of the wiki-template include links to pages of these "reference wikis". These links have been included to help you and your readers in being explicit about the meaning of terms and many other aspects in sustainable development.

However, you are free to remove or replace these links.
* Actor Atlas
* Interaction Dictionary
* Constraint Dictionary
* Info-Actant Dictionary
* Entity Dictionary
* Indicator Dictionary

help pages

Each page includes links to help pages.

Often we refer to the Wikidot documentation.

If this documentation is not sufficient, additional help and guidance is included in the User manual at

an NFUR wiki in your language?

If you want the create the wiki in another language, page-by-page translated content is available from the Actor Atlas in these languages:

Moreover, the structure of the wiki with templates that contain "repeated content" and pages that merge specific content with the repeated content, and page links that display page titles lends itself to rapid translation and expansion.

In the case that you want to translate this template, we propose that you first translate a literal clone of the #nfur source, next translate a literal clone of this wiki, and next offer this for replication by others who use your language. Also clone the base template in the new language for the wiki you wish to publish yourself.

Inform us of your template and we will include a link to it on suitable reference pages, including on the language page in the Ens Dictionary and in the initiative pages of the countries in which the language is being used.

a multi-lingual voluntary stakeholder wiki?

Navigating multi-lingual wikis

In many countries, multiple languages are being used. Instead of creating a monolingual wiki for each language, it is desirable that for each page of a voluntary reporting wiki there is a version in each of the (major) languages of the country.

For international comparability, or to communicate with foreign donors, aid workers or investors, also a version in one of the major international languages could be useful. It is possible to develop such versions alongside the domestic versions of the pages.

The wiki patterns for multilingual wikis are demonstrated in the Actor Atlas. By clicking a language flag or code one navigates to the page in the corresponding language, for instance [ Сводные на русском].

and finally, cloning this wiki !

The Wikidot clone module will only work with sites of 100 pages or less.

This is the current number of pages in this site.

82 pages

A clone option will be available soon.
